THiNK English Mission
While spending a year teaching English in Korea, Jason, from the UK, met Kyung, from Busan, in 2014. Since then, they have lived in Australia and the UK together, got married, and had their first son, Noah. Finally, they decided to use their compined 10+ years of industry experience to open THiNK English together in 2020.
We designed our academy with both the practicality of the teachers and the engagement of the students in mind. Years of experience have taught us how to optimise classroom spaces for teachers to deliver amazing classes. We also wanted to create a fun, dynamic classroom environment in which each and every student feels comfortable, safe and inspired.
One important motivation for us to found THiNK English was identifying what we felt were gaps and failures of common English Academy Curriculums in Korea. We have spent years creating a bespoke English Program for Elementary School Students that focusses on natural language aquisition while developing a balanced skillset. We maximise classtime with the Native Teacher in an emmersive learning environment, while also utilising a structured curriculum alligned with the TOSEL National Testing System.
